How do I claim my free listing?
Anyone can add a listing to OhanaPages. A community member may have added your listing to promote their favorite products, services, or cause. This is one way we can support local businesses and nonprofits to keep Hawaii thriving by helping them get the recognition they deserve and ensuring others can discover these incredible resources.
To claim your listing, follow the steps below. Once you get verified and claim the listing, your profile will be displayed on your listing page.
Step 1: Sign in or Register your account
First, sign in or register. New users will need to verify your email, or use sign in with Google to create your account.
Step 2: Complete Your Profile to get Verified
Next, before you can claim your listing page, you will need to get verified as an authorized representative of your business or nonprofit. The registration process is simple, and requires you to complete your profile with the following information:
- First and Last Name (required)
- Title (your official title)
- Organization Name (your official business or nonprofit name)
- Phone Number (the organization’s official phone number)
- Email (your official work email)
To get started, sign in and complete your profile to get verified.
We will receive your registration once you complete your profile. Please note the verification review can take up to 5 business days. We do this to ensure you own the listing you are claiming, which protects your listing information and instills trust and credibility as a verified member within our community.
Once we verify your account, a green checkmark will be displayed next to your name.
Step 3: Claim your listing
After your account is verified, the easiest way to claim your listing is to search for it here using your organization name. If you find your listing in the results, click on the image or title to go to your listing page and click on the Claim Listing link to submit your request. Please note you will need to be logged in with your verified account in order to see the Claim Listing link.
Once we receive your request, it will take up to 5 business days to review your claim against your verified account. After we approve the claim, a green checkmark will be displayed next to your organization name to indicate your listing has been verified.
If you feel someone has claimed the listing page in error, please click on the Report Listing link and provide details that will help us verify that this listing violates our terms of service.
Step 4: Update your listing page
Once you and your listing are verified, you will be able to add and update the information on your listing page by clicking the Edit button next to Details under your organization name and address.
You can easily navigate to your listing page by clicking on your username in the top right menu and clicking on Listings. Click on the listing name to edit the listing, or click on the eye icon to view the listing page.
